At this level, they work under the guidance of a senior professional and support them in conducting quality tests, data collection, and analysis.
Intermediate competence definition
At an intermediate level, individuals are responsible for designing and implementing quality assurance and testing processes, procedures, and plans. They have a comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. They would also have experience in creating and implementing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. At this level, they would be responsible for executing tests, analyzing the test results, identifying issues and defects, and reporting them to the relevant stakeholders. They would also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation related to quality assurance and testing.
Advanced competence definition
Advanced professionals are responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance and testing team. They should have extensive experience in testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. They also have experience implementing and managing quality assurance and testing programs across multiple projects and departments. At this level, they are responsible for ensuring that the organization’s products or services meet the required quality standards and regulatory requirements. They would also be responsible for continuous process improvement and identifying new testing tools and techniques. We have also found that they manage the quality assurance and testing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately.
