Global Diversity Understanding
Global Diversity Understanding is the awareness and comprehension of the various distinct cultural, racial, and ethnic groups worldwide. It fosters mutual respect and equal opportunities in a workplace by recognising and appreciating diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives aligned with the principles of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Level 1: Emerging
At an emerging level you are beginning to recognize and respect global diversity. You openly appreciate differences, actively learn international cultural nuances, and steadily adapt your behavior to promote inclusion.
Level 2: Proficient
At a proficient level, you are able to demonstrate a deep understanding of global diversity dynamics and their impact on organizational culture, policies, and practices within the context of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion.
Level 3: Advanced
At an advanced level, you are able to demonstrate a deep understanding of global diversity issues, including cultural nuances, intersectionality, and systemic barriers to equity and inclusion.
