Resource Planning

Resource Planning is the strategic coordination and management of all resources required in a supply chain. It includes planning, scheduling and allocating human, physical and financial resources for efficient and effective supply chain operations, thereby minimising costs and maximising customer satisfaction.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to understand foundational concepts of resource planning in SCM. You're obtaining basic skills to anticipate and manage resources, but require guidance.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level, you are able to effectively assess and allocate resources within the supply chain to optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimize waste while meeting organizational objectives.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level you are able to develop and execute sophisticated resource planning strategies in Supply Chain Management, optimizing inventory levels and ensuring seamless operations for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
