Management Accounting is the process of preparing management reports and accounts that provide accurate and timely financial and statistical information required for managers to make day-to-day and short-term decisions within the organization's finance and accounting functions.
Level 1: Emerging
At an emerging level, you are beginning to develop skills in management accounting. You demonstrate an understanding of basic principles and apply these in straightforward financial reporting and analysis tasks.
Level 2: Proficient
At a proficient level you are proficient in preparing internal financial reports, analyzing costs and revenue, budgeting, forecasting, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making in the organization.
Level 3: Advanced
At an advanced level, you are proficient in applying complex management accounting techniques to make strategic financial decisions, optimize resource allocation, and drive business performance in a finance and accounting context.
