Cross-Cultural Communication Skills is the ability of Frontline Workers to effectively interpret, convey, and negotiate shared meanings in interactions with clients and team members from diverse cultural backgrounds, fostering tolerance, understanding, and successful interactions in multicultural environments.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to demonstrate sensitivity and awareness towards other cultures. Your communication may require guidance, specifically in complex cross-cultural frontline worker interactions.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level, you are able to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, demonstrating respect, empathy, and flexibility in your interactions as a Frontline Worker.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level, you are proficient in navigating complex cultural differences, demonstrating a deep understanding and respect for diverse perspectives in order to effectively communicate and build relationships with individuals from all backgrounds.
