What is training and development?

The difference between training and development

No, ‘training and development’ is not just one broad term. Training is the act of learning or improving skills and knowledge necessary for a particular job role or function. It’s considered a short-term, skills-based process that aims to fill in knowledge or capability gaps; for example, learning how to use a new software.
