Accessibility and Inclusivity in Facilities is the capacity to develop, implement, and maintain infrastructures that are universally accessible, considering differently-abled individuals, while promoting diversity, respecting individualities, and ensuring safety and comfort for all in the facilities management spectrum.
Level 1: Emerging
At an emerging level, you are gaining knowledge on making facilities accessible and inclusive for all. You can identify basic barriers and recommend changes under supervision in a facilities management environment.
Level 2: Proficient
At a proficient level you are able to ensure that facilities are accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities, and create an inclusive environment that meets diverse needs within the organization.
Level 3: Advanced
At an advanced level, you are able to ensure that facilities are accessible and inclusive for all individuals, including those with disabilities, by implementing advanced design and technology solutions.
