Basic Problem-Solving

Basic Problem-Solving is the ability of Frontline Workers to identify, analyze and resolve basic issues that arise in their day-to-day tasks, through employing a range of straightforward problem-solving methods while demonstrating critical thinking, decision-making skills and resilience in high-pressure situations.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to apply basic problem-solving skills, often requiring guidance. You use simple techniques to identify problems and seek assistance to resolve issues.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level, you are able to independently identify and solve routine problems faced in a frontline worker role. You can effectively implement solutions and adapt as needed.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level, you are adept at analyzing complex issues quickly and developing innovative solutions independently. You demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and consistently deliver effective problem-solving outcomes in frontline roles.
