Compliance with Accessibility Standards

Compliance with Accessibility Standards is the facility management's ability to ensure that all physical premises, services, and digital interfaces within the organization adhere to established accessibility standards, promoting inclusive environments for all employees, customers and visitors, including those with disabilities.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to understand and apply accessibility standards in facility management. You identify compliance gaps and make initial efforts towards addressing these in your facilities.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level you are able to ensure that facilities are compliant with accessibility standards, making necessary adjustments and accommodations to support all individuals within the organization.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level, you are fully proficient in ensuring that facilities meet all accessibility standards, including ADA requirements, to provide equal access and opportunities for all individuals within the built environment.
