Diversity management

Diversity management is the ability for emerging leaders to intend, promote and celebrate differences among team members, fostering inclusion and respect. It includes understanding various cultures, orientations, and backgrounds, effectively addressing biases and stereotype threats to nurture a culture of equity and progression within their team.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to understand the importance of diversity, seeking guidance to recognize and value differences amongst team members, while promoting inclusive practices in your leadership.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level, you are able to effectively lead diverse teams, creating an inclusive culture that values different perspectives and leverages the strengths of each team member to drive innovation and success.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level you are able to proactively promote and embrace diversity within the organization, effectively leading cross-functional and multicultural teams with respect, inclusion, and sensitivity.
