Electrical Safety
Electrical Safety is the ability to understand and implement practices and procedures to prevent, minimise, or manage potential hazards related to electrical installations, operations and appliances as per Environmental Health and Safety standards, reducing environmental impact and ensuring the wellbeing of employees and the public.
Level 1: Emerging
At an emerging level, you are developing your understanding of electrical safety. You have basic knowledge of safe practices, regulations and can recognize potential hazards in an environmental health and safety context.
Level 2: Proficient
At a proficient level, you are able to identify and mitigate electrical hazards in the workplace, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and effectively communicate electrical safety protocols to colleagues.
Level 3: Advanced
At an advanced level, you are able to assess and implement comprehensive electrical safety measures to prevent hazards and ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations in the workplace.
