Emergency Response Readiness
Emergency Response Readiness is the ability of a Frontline Worker to efficiently manage emergency situations, utilising necessary skills such as quick decision-making, situation assessment, and implementing emergency protocols, all while ensuring safety, reducing harm, and restoring normalcy as swiftly as possible.
Level 1: Emerging
At an emerging level you are beginning to understand Emergency Response protocols. You can identify potential crises and take initial steps under supervision, demonstrating limited but developing response readiness competence.
Level 2: Proficient
At a proficient level you are able to demonstrate a strong understanding of emergency response protocols and procedures, making quick and effective decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of yourself and others.
Level 3: Advanced
At an advanced level you are the go-to person for all emergency response situations, able to assess, plan, and execute complex emergency procedures with confidence and efficiency as a Frontline Worker.
