Ergonomics

Ergonomics is the science of optimizing workplace design to reduce the risk of injury and maximize worker productivity while ensuring safety measures, relating to environmental health and safety by endorsing a work environment that interfaces positively with an employee's physical conditions and capabilities.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to understand ergonomic principles. You are capable of identifying potential risks in the workspace, fostering safety and preventing work-related injuries.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level you are able to effectively identify and address ergonomic hazards in the workplace to ensure the health and safety of employees, reducing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level, you are able to identify and implement ergonomics solutions to promote a safe and healthy work environment, reducing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries.
