Food Safety and Quality is the assurance capability that focuses on maintaining high-end quality and safety standards of food products, including the systematic process of checking, managing, and verifying production processes, to protect consumers from foodborne illnesses and ensure overall product excellence.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level you are gaining foundational knowledge regarding food safety and quality standards. You are beginning to apply these standards, under supervision, in quality assurance roles.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level, you are able to effectively ensure food safety and quality standards are met by implementing and monitoring quality assurance measures within the organization.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level you are able to design, implement, and monitor comprehensive food safety and quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and exceeding industry standards.
