Health Promotion

Health Promotion is the capability to create, implement, and evaluate strategies to encourage healthier behaviors and foster safe environmental conditions, thereby minimizing health risks, preventing accidents, and ensuring full employee well-being, within the context of Environmental Health and Safety.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are learning to implement basic health promotion activities, recognize environmental health and safety hazards, and understand the importance of safety regulations and guidelines.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level, you are effectively promoting health and wellness initiatives within the organization to create a safe and healthy environment for employees, focusing on environmental health and safety measures.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level you are able to design and implement comprehensive health promotion programs that address environmental hazards, promote safety, and improve overall well-being within the organization.
