Inclusive Curriculum Design

Inclusive Curriculum Design is the process of creating learning frameworks that take into account the diverse needs, backgrounds, and perspectives of all participants, fostering an equitable environment that promotes knowledge and understanding, and encourages the inclusion of various voices and experiences.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to understand and apply principles of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in designing educational curricula. You are now making efforts to include diverse perspectives.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level you are able to design inclusive curriculums that reflect diverse perspectives, incorporate equitable learning opportunities, and promote inclusivity for all individuals within the educational setting.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level you are able to design curriculums that not only reflect diverse perspectives but actively promote equity and inclusion, creating a welcoming environment for all learners.
