Inclusive Leadership
Inclusive Leadership is the practice of consciously including, embracing, and considering diversity within a team, ensuring equal opportunities and inclusivity. This involves eliminating prejudice, recognizing unconscious bias, promoting a culture of equity, and ensuring decision-making processes reflect all voices and perspectives diversely.
Level 1: Emerging
At an emerging level, you are beginning to understand the importance of diverse perspectives. You are openly embracing inclusivity practices and equity principles, while promoting a respectful and inclusive workplace.
Level 2: Proficient
At a proficient level, you are able to demonstrate inclusive leadership by fostering a culture of respect, fairness, and belonging, valuing diverse perspectives, and advocating for equity and inclusion in decision-making.
Level 3: Advanced
At an advanced level, you are leading with empathy, actively advocating for diverse voices, challenging bias and discrimination, and creating a culture of inclusivity and belonging within the organization.
