Indigenous People Inclusion is the strategic organizational commitment to recognize, appreciate and incorporate the unique histories, cultures, experiences, and talents of Indigenous people, ensuring deliberate efforts to include them in all aspects of the organization, thereby promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to understand and value Indigenous cultures. You are starting to learn how to respectfully interact, communicate and include Indigenous people in your work environment.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level you are actively engaging with Indigenous peoples, advocating for their rights, and promoting their participation in decision-making processes to create a more inclusive and equitable workplace.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level you are adept in creating and implementing strategies that promote meaningful inclusion of Indigenous peoples, fostering a culture of respect, understanding, and collaboration within the organization.
