Machine Safety

Machine Safety is the application of safety protocols and procedures to prevent or mitigate health hazards associated with the operation, maintenance, and interaction with machinery within an environmental health and safety context. It involves risk assessment, preventive measures, and compliance with safety regulations.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to familiarize with machine safety rules, demonstrating a basic understanding of safety procedures and environmental health regulations pertaining to equipment operation.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level, you are able to analyze and implement machine safety measures effectively within the workplace to ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level you are able to develop and implement comprehensive machine safety programs, conduct thorough risk assessments, and effectively train others on safe machine operating procedures in compliance with EHS regulations.
