Negotiation skills

Negotiation skills is the ability of an Emerging Leader to effectively communicate, persuade and collaborate in order to build mutually beneficial agreements. It involves resolving conflicts, making decisions, maintaining relationships, and leveraging influence whilst balancing the interests of both the individual and the organization.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to understand the fundamentals of negotiation, showing a readiness to listen, comprehend differing viewpoints, and explore win-win solutions in a respectful manner.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level you are able to effectively negotiate with stakeholders to achieve win-win outcomes, demonstrating confidence, adaptability, and strategic thinking in your approach as an Emerging Leader.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level you are adept at using creative and strategic approaches in negotiations, consistently achieving win-win outcomes to propel your team and organization forward.
