Persuasiveness

Persuasiveness is the ability of Emerging Leaders to influence others’ thoughts, beliefs or actions through reasoned dialogue, compelling arguments, and strategic collaboration. This includes the ability to constructively challenge prevailing ideas, capture attention, and drive needed change underpinned by credibility, trust, and thoughtful communication.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are capable of creating basic yet compelling arguments, using initial evidence and logic. You are starting to influence others while respecting their perspectives.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level, you are able to effectively influence and persuade others to take action towards achieving the goals of the Emerging Leaders framework. Your communication skills are impactful and persuasive.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level, you are able to effectively influence and persuade others within the organization, gaining buy-in and support for your ideas and initiatives as an Emerging Leader.
