Project Closure and Handover

Project Closure and Handover is the conclusion process in which all project activities are finalized, outcomes are evaluated, deliverables are transferred to the client or stakeholders, and, crucially, lessons learned are documented for future reference. This phase ensures formal, orderly completion of projects.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are grasping the fundamental skills in project closure and handover. You understand the basic protocols and are capable of executing with guidance and supervision.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level, you are adept at ensuring all project deliverables are completed, conducting thorough handovers, closing out financials, and capturing lessons learned for future projects within the organization.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level you are able to effectively finalize all project activities, transition deliverables to stakeholders, and ensure a seamless handoff for ongoing maintenance and support.
