Reverse Logistics Management

Reverse Logistics Management is the operational strategy of planning, implementing, and controlling flows of raw materials, in-process inventory, and finished goods from point of consumption to point of origin for recovery, reuse, recycling or proper disposal within a supply chain context.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are learning to manage returned or recycled goods, comprehend return policies, track returns, and develop strategies to resell, or dispose of, returned products efficiently.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level you are able to effectively manage the process of reverse logistics, including product returns, recycling, and remanufacturing, to ensure optimal efficiency and cost savings in the supply chain.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level, you are able to demonstrate a deep understanding and implementation of reverse logistics management strategies within the context of supply chain management, maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
