Total Quality Management (TQM)

Total Quality Management (TQM) is a systematic process-led approach aimed at enhancing performance in all aspects of an organization's operations through consistent alignment with quality standards, continuous improvement and proactive participation of all team members within the quality assurance framework.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to understand the basic principles of Total Quality Management. You can identify key elements of TQM and contribute to QA discussions and activities.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level you are able to effectively implement Total Quality Management principles and practices to ensure that quality standards are met throughout all aspects of the organization's processes and operations.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level you are able to lead, implement, and continuously improve Total Quality Management systems to ensure the highest standards of quality assurance within the organization.
