Unconscious Bias Recognition

Unconscious Bias Recognition is the ability to identify and examine personal prejudices held involuntarily against diversity aspects, like race, gender, or age, that interfere with fair decision-making and hinder equity and inclusion within the professional environment. It enhances impartial judgement and promotes diverse perspectives.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to understand your own unconscious biases and are actively seeking to learn more about how these biases can impact diversity, equity and inclusion.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level, you are able to recognize and address unconscious bias in yourself and others, fostering a more inclusive and equitable workplace for all individuals.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level you are able to recognize and address unconscious biases in a variety of situations, actively promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
