Media Literacy

Media Literacy is the ability to critically analyze and comprehend the content distributed via various communication channels, encompassing the understanding of its creation, operation, presentation, implications, and potential influence, thus enabling effective interpretation and response in a globally digital and media-saturated environment.

Level 1: Emerging

At an emerging level, you are beginning to understand the basics of media literacy. You can identify different types of media and are familiar with the concept of media influence.

Level 2: Proficient

At a proficient level, you are able to critically analyze and evaluate media content, understand bias and manipulation techniques, and effectively communicate your findings to others within the organization.

Level 3: Advanced

At an advanced level you are able to critically analyze and effectively communicate through various forms of media, demonstrating a deep understanding of media production, consumption, and interpretation.
